Dulcamarais a Boiron homeopathic single medicine. Like other homeopathic medicines, Boiron's Dulcamara is obtained from a precise and controlled process of successive homeopathic dilutions. With each homeopathic dilution, the Dulcamara medicine is de-concentrated and then vigorously shaken - this is also called succussion. This process transforms the original Dulcamara solution into an active medicine.

One method is called the X scale. X is the Latin 'roman numeral' for the number 10. X means 10 in Latin - decum/decimus (decimal), meaning that each successive dilution is diluted 10 times and succussed to produce the next homeopathic dilution.
With the decimal system, multiplying by ten is easy - just add a zero. This makes it easily visible that that 2X is 10 (ten) times more diluted than 1X, and that 3X is 100 (one hundred) times more diluted than 1X. And so on until 200X, which is considered a high dilution and is currently the highest dilution on the X scale.

Another popular scale of homeopathic dilutions is the C scale, where each dilution is diluted 100 times to produce the next one. One hundred is C - centum/centesimus (century) - in the Latin roman numeral system.
With the decimal system, multiplying by one hundred is also easy - just add two zeroes. This makes it easily visible that that 2C is 100 (one hundred) times more diluted than 1C, and that 3C is 10000 (ten thousand) times more diluted than 1C. And so on until 200C (aka 200CK), which is considered a high dilution and is currently the highest dilution on the C scale.

The next scale in the homeopathic dilution order is the M scale, where each dilution is diluted 1000 (one thousand) times to produce the next one. One thousand is M - mille/millesimus (mile) - in the Latin roman numeral system.
With the decimal system, multiplying by one thousand is easy as well - just add three zeroes. This makes it easily visible that that 2M is 1000 (one thousand) times more diluted than 1M, and that 3M is 1000000 (one million) times more diluted than 1M. And so on until CM (aka 100M), which is considered a high dilution and is currently the highest dilution on the M scale.

There's always with a succussion step for each dilution of Dulcamara and all other Boiron homeopathic medicines. Homeopathic doctors use low dilutions, medium or high dilutions of Dulcamara according to their needs. Lower dilutions of Dulcamara are more suitable for local symptoms. Medium homeopathic dilutions of Dulcamara are more suitable for general (whole body) symptoms. High dilutions of Dulcamara are more appropriate for symptoms that involve local and/or general symptoms but also the mind.
